Complete Inspections

Many experienced agents and careful sellers request a pre-listing inspection to find any possible issues that may compromise the sale of a property.

Most buyers, realtors, and lenders recommend or request a termite inspection at the time of making an offer to find if there are any infestations or costly repairs.

A major advantage to getting a purchase inspection is to better understand the condition of property and potential costs of treatment and/or repairs. In addition, most lenders will require a pest inspection when funding a refinance.

Limited Inspections

A limited inspection deals with a specific problem area of a structure. We will be happy to do a limited inspection to determine what kind of infestation, moisture, or dry rot problem you may be dealing with. We will also give a competitive estimate on an existing termite report that you may have.

3 year warranty
For extensive Drywood Termites, we provide tenting and fumigation of residential and commercial structures.

5 year warranty

For Subterranean Termite infestations, we provide a complete perimeter treatment with Altriset or Termidor.

3 year warranty

When feasible, small Wood Boring Beetle and Drywood Termite infestations may be treated locally by injecting termiticide.

With an annual inspection program in place, we can offer a 10-year guarantee against subterranean termite infestation.

How often do I need a termite inspection at my home?

Every 2 to 4 years depending on age and condition of the home. Many companies sell annual inspections, but this is really more than most people need in our area

What is the difference between a limited and a full inspection?

In a full inspection, we inspect all the structure that we can access without damaging, defacing, or moving anything. Inaccessible parts of the structure are noted on the report. A limited inspection is generally one particular area where the homeowner has noted or suspects damage,  and is useful only for identification and estimate purposes.

We have happy customers

"We just wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of us during our home transition. You and your team went above and beyond the call of duty and we are very appreciative. We are all moved in at our new home and love it."

Pete Woodring

"I just wanted to tell you that it was a pleasure working with your foreman. He was most agreeable and helpful in every way. I’m delighted with all the facets of the job, from your very professional suggestions to the full accommodations he afforded me while on the job. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate recommending Buena Vista Company."

"The Buena Vista Company is superb. Mike Kesecker inspected and bid on major foundation and drainage work for a home I had just purchased in Mill Valley this fall. His crew did the work while I was abroad for a month. I came back to find the work completed in excellent fashion; Make having authorized item beyond the contract which finished off the job. the crew has been back several times to do additional construction.

They are courteous, competent, and impeccable in both working and doing cleanup. The foreman is knowledgeable and observant about the complexities of the work. And Mike is always available for questions or problems that arise with the idiosyncrasies of the property. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank You!"
